Description
Three trumpeter swans engage in a migratory dance as they reflect in the gentle ripples below. Taking a moment to look at their own reflections, it is almost as if they are saying, "Look at us we lords of the northern skies! Are we not beautiful?"

What a delightful scene - I love the "dance" and the fact that they DO appear to be enjoying watching themselves. Congratulations on the tie for 1st place in the recent Sold In February On FAA contest.
Whispering Peaks Photography replied:
Oh thank you Nikolyn! I had someone point out to me that the faint ripples in the water looked like lines on a music sheet and the swans were notes. :) they were a wonderful capture. I was thrilled they finished tied for first.

Amazing capture - Fantastic!
Whispering Peaks Photography replied:
Thank you so much! It was such an amazing day. I had seen them earlier in the fog and when the fog lifted, I had gone back to see if they were there...they were stretching and getting ready to continue on their way for their migration...it was like a ballet!
