Forest Illusions- Freya's Tears is created with a combination of long exposure and planned camera movement for a unique nature based abstract. It is said that Freya's Tears turned to gold and amber as they found the ground.

As a self taught photographer and artist, Doug Hammerberg (Whispering Peaks Photography) lives in Kalispell Montana which is so close to the beauty of Glacier Park and Yellowstone as well as the Cabinet and Bob Marshall Wilderness, inspiration to create art is with you when you wake each morning and when you go to bed each evening. Great landscapes and plentiful wildlife surround you and sweep you away daily. When my bride passed away in 2020, she told me to keep being creative.
